Local Mission Opportunities

There are countless opportunities for Lander students to get involved in the community whether it is at Connie Maxwell Children’s Home, Soup Kitchen, Food Bank, or other opportunities.

Lamplighters

Lamplighters is where we go once a month to Connie Maxwell Baptist Church and teach their Sunday School classes, help with Children’s Church and the nursery, and participate in the Worship Service. The Fall 2019 Dates are September 29th, October 27th, and November 10th. We meet at the BCM Center at 9:30AM and eat together after the service.

Mission Trip

Each year, Lander BCM takes a mission trip in the summer. We have been to places such as New Orleans, Orlando, New York, West Virginia, South Carolina, and other places.
